About Deb:

Deb began her career as a Mechanical Engineer. With the birth of her first child, she left the corporate world and began a journey of transformation that led to the work she does today, as a Certified Hypnotherapist and Shamanic Minister, Teacher and Guide.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. This was followed by a Master
of Arts in Theology and Spirituality from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN, with an emphasis in Spiritual Direction in 1997. She completed her practicum in Spiritual Direction at Christos Center for Spiritual Formation in
Lino Lakes, MN in 1996.

Deb became a Certified Hypnotherapist in 2003 through the Banyan Hypnosis Center for Training and Services, formerly in Mounds View, MN, now in Tustin, CA. She continued her hypnosis training with Marilyn Gordon of Oakland, CA, and did additional training in past life regression with Julia Ingram of Portland, OR.

In 2005, she became part of the first Shamanic Priestess Process™ circle in the Twin Cites, facilitated by Anyaa McAndrew. She continued on with this powerful group of women to complete Magdalene Mysteries in 2007. She then decided to apprentice this transformative process with Patricia Montgomery so she could share this amazing work with other women.

Simultaneously, she began the Shamanic Breathwork™ Facilitator training at Venus Rising Institute for Shamanic Healing Arts in Western North Carolina.  She was ordained a Shamanic Minister through Venus Rising in 2007 and became a Shamanic Breathwork Facilitator in 2008.

Over the years, Deb has also received additional training in hypnosis, energy work, psychic development and shamanic practices as well as many other mind/body/spirit modalities.

Her guiding principle is the understanding that the Divine lives within each one of us.  Her calling and passion is working with people to help them deepen their connection with that inner wisdom, sometimes called the Shaman Within. She uses hypnosis, shamanic breathwork™ and circle work as tools for transformation. She is grateful for the guidance and support she receives from a variety of sources, especially Venus Rising Institute for Shamanic Healing Arts.
